The Bible – We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old Testament and the New Testament are verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in all things pertaining to life and death, and are eternally settled in Heaven. 2 Timothy 3:16,17, 2 Peter 1:19-21, Matthew 24:35.

The Trinity – We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons, with three separate offices: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three in one, co-equal and co-eternal, which is the Godhead; the Trinity. Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 12:5,6.

God, the Father – He is the Father of all creation, of the Nation of Israel, of the Lord Jesus Christ, of those that have received Christ, He is the begetter and sender of Christ, and the Disciplinarian of His Children. Genesis 1:31, John 3:16, Hebrews 12:9.

God the Son – We believe in the Deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the Cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He is seated and glorified, ministering in His office as High Priest and Intercessor for His Church. Philippians 2:9-11, Isaiah 7:14, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 28:6,7, Hebrews 7:26-28.

God the Holy Spirit – We believe He is carrying out His present day ministry of convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells every believer, and baptizes them into the Church at the moment of conversion. He teaches us and guides us into all truth, and seals us until our bodies are redeemed. He will glorify Christ in us, and every believer is commanded to be controlled by Him. 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 12:13, John 16:13,14, Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18.

Man – We believe that man is created in the image of God with a mind or intellect to think His thoughts, a heart to respond to His love, and a will to obey His commands; that he sinned in disobedience to God, thereby incurring not only physical death, but also spiritual death (separation from God) and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and have the need of a spiritual re-birth. Being eternal, each man will be accountable for His life to God. Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 3:3, Hebrews 9:27, 2 Corinthians 5:10.

Salvation – We believe, in accordance with the Scriptures, that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, that He arose bodily on the third day, and that all that believe in Him and invite Him into their lives as Lord and Savior are justified through His shed blood eternally. 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 Romans 5:8-10, Romans 10:9,10,13.

The Church – We believe the Church is comprised of all born again believers that Christ has called by His name (My Bride, My Body) and of which He is the Head. We also believe that the local Church is comprised of believers that will meet for mutual edification, evangelism, fellowship, and all functions necessary for meeting individual needs and individual maturity. 1 Corinthians 12:13, Colossians 1:17,18, Ephesians 4:11-13.

Future Things – We believe in that “blessed hope,” the Blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, and in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Acts 1:11, John 14:1-3, 1Timothy 6:15,16, 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17

Ordinances – We believe that the ordinances of the Church, given by Jesus Christ, are Baptism (following conversion), and the Lord’s table (Communion) and are acts of obedience for every believer. Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
