We would ask that you pray this month for our Annual Fall Benefit . This will be held on Friday September 10th, at 6:30pm at Guy’s Party Center. Our keynote speaker is Andre Thornton , former slugger for the Cleveland Indians, (http://www.clevelandseniors.com/people/andrethornton.htm), and local business entrepreneur. Tickets for this fundraiser are free and an offering will be received at the banquet. Please pray that Jesus Christ will be glorified by the testimonies of God’s saving grace. Our theme for this year’s banquet is “Rescued”. Many of you have been rescued by the grace of God, please come and see the hand of God at work in the lives of prisoners here in Akron Ohio.
Also pray for Brian and Emily as they will be telling their stories at the banquet. We are excited to be a witness of the work they have allowed God to do in their lives.
Inmate Requests- 8/17/2010
Please pray for the inmates of the Summit County Jail as we have the opportunity and privilege to minister the gospel to them. Pray that their hearts would be like fertile soil ready to receive the seed of God’s Word. Pray for changed lives and saved souls.

The Sisters from Power of a Dream are asking for prayers for Tai Shi Varner. She will be sentence on Tuesday, August 31st on a Manslaughter charge due to domestic violence. We are asking God to give Tai Shi the courage, strength and wisdom to accept God’s will on this day. We pray that as a mother she will be able to return to her children, ages 8 months, 5 years and 10 years.
