Broken Chains Welcomes Two Board Members

Join us in welcoming Elisa Raicevich, Board Chairperson, and Christine Cox, Board Member to the Broken Chains Ministry board of directors.

Both Elisa and Christine bring more than 15 years of Broken Chains Ministry mentoring experience to their new roles, having mentored dozens of women over the years. In fact, Christine has worked in prison ministry for more than 25 years.

In addition, both of these exceptional leaders are active educators at Lydia’s Home, visiting monthly to teach the Heart of Addiction Bible Study Curriculum to women in recovery. They also visit the women’s Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) monthly to mentor to those still incarcerated.

Some of you may also recall that Christine was recognized with the Everyday Hero Award by ComDoc in 2018. (View the special award video from the Lydia’s Home page.)

Elisa has been working closely with Dennis Shawhan throughout 2021 to help her prepare to meet the needs and responsibilities of her new role as Chairperson. Christine brings previous board experience from former board positions with Haven of Rest Ministries, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness to her new role. Elisa is employed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice as a paralegal specialist, and Christine is employed by ComDoc, a Xerox Company, as an information technology and data specialist.

Elisa and Christine join board members Kenneth Anderson, President and CEO of Pro Gram Engineering Corp., and William (Bill) Garnier, Vice President and CEO of Renewable Lubricants, along with Dennis Shawhan, who now serves as immediate past Chairperson and ex officio member.

Please extend a warm welcome to Elisa and Christine. To send them a note, use our Contact Page.
